Matthew Marsh

Matthew is an accredited mediator with experience of mediation over many years. He qualified as a solicitor and was a partner in a London law firm; he was appointed a Recorder sitting in the Crown Court in 2002 and appointed a full-time judge in 2012. He sat in the High Court in London as a Chancery Master and then as Chief Chancery Master until 2021. He continues to sit as a judge part time.

Matthew’s experience covers the spectrum of work in the Business and Property Courts in London including business disputes, professional negligence claims and banking as well as all types of work dealt with in the Property Trusts and Probate List.

Matthew is willing to accept appointments for ‘Time limited mediations’, a scheme that has been set up by Three Stone Mediation to provide less expensive mediation in appropriate cases, for ENE and Chancery FDR.

He has experience of both in-person and on-line mediations.
