Michael began as an advocate in mediations very early in his career as a barrister. He has attended many mediations over the years and has always been struck by how successful they can be, even where the parties seemed to be on different planets.
After a run of mediations which settled in spite of the parties’ – well – spite, he decided he had to learn this wizardry and set about training as a mediator. He qualified with the Society of Mediators in 2023.
Michael’s degree was in theoretical physics. He is an accomplished computer nerd and passable musician in his spare time. His science background and interests complement his practice, where he specialises in intellectual property and insolvency, as well as general commercial chancery matters. He brings this experience and knowledge to bear as a mediator.
